It's a good day, good timing to spend a few hours exploring the historical scenes with a friend. It was long time, long long time I've never been to the China town in the city center.
First steps in the place, an eye catching Hindu temple was in front of us. At the same time, we said:"O, take photo?". The temple looks historical and nicely structured.
I almost forget to talk about the main purpose that pulled me to this walk, it's the 3D coffee art at Coffee Amo @ Jalan Sultan. A cafe full of feelings from the corridor, entrance to the cafe itself, nevertheless the coffee art is so lovely!
Walking up through the looking old stairway, emptiness in my mind...... Here you go the coffee that I was looking forward to >>
Ocean 11 - Tangerine flavored latte
Sweet 16 - Macadamia flavored latte The cafe's ambiance is cozy and it's a good place for catching up with friends, having a cup of coffee, cakes etc.
After coffee, full energy was restored. We walked around the area, enjoying the historical scenes. I was thinking of the past time stories when I spent my days in these streets and buildings for some days in China town.
Why am I saying today is a tummy full house day? Coz it never feel hungry today, not a second. hehe.
Morning was bright, morning was beautiful. :) I met petpetkia for breakfast, had a "good looking" claypot lou shu fun + teh C ais. Taste was OK.
Noon we went for a walk, yamcha at Espressolab Jalan Ampang, the iced caramel machiatto was good, not too sweet. Caffeine was what I needed since I only slept 3 hours last night.
And I forgot my lunch! So I gotta get some snacks, fast food is not for me, but I did picked up some "fast food", few pieces of sushi. It was unexpectedly yummy!
Last night my mood got stirred up and down. I thought today the cloudy day will continue. Luckily, I have a friend, a friend with a pan. haha, just kidding. I am still enjoying the day. Enjoyed the chatting and laughing.
For dinner, I even gave myself day end bonus.
Home cooked bak kut teh + rice, very important with the chili padi & garlic, yeah!
Enjoying the night, relaxing and listening to one of my favorite KDrama songs.
Let's start fighting! To diet with zero carbo? That is merely possible when I think of this. Hey, wait! But I did it before, long time ago...... Why not now? Today is not a selfie day but the 1st day of foodfie day. Mamak shop is one of breakfast hot spots for my family. How to reduce consuming fattening, yet delicious mamak food? Check this healthy mamak eating style link, it sounds good! I did quite well today :P, but far from my target still...... Breakfast - Roti Masala & Teh O Ais Limau Kosong
A good choice of wheat flour crispy roti instead of nasi lemak and usual roti canai. Lunch - The best of today, oops, over-eaten. Yummy mixed salad (cucumber, cherry tomatoes, nuts, melons), check the recipe here.
Few bites only from here & there (fried mee, fruits)
Tea Break - Iced decaffeinated black coffee (with sugar free sweetener), let the caffeine talks!
Dinner - A good bowl of Chinese spinach soup & some chunks of Sardine
Broke some rules but at least cut some carbo! Wish tomorrow will be better. by Ms Nice Little
