Sunday, Happy Eating Day

Sunday again, happy eating day!

Sunday is always the day that I love to relax at home, not cooking, not doing any work at home. Mostly eat out.

To start this Sunday healthily, I set a family competition. Water drinking competition, this is absolutely a very simple and encouraging game especially for the kids. Jer was busy to chase up to be the winner, drank so much of water. The one that lose will have to massage for the rest. Haha.

Besides, I have been eating and exercising as usual.

Eating with :)

Breakfast - Cornflakes + raisins in yogurt drink

Lunch - Pork noodles (sharing basis) + Nescafe Ice

Dinner - Kenny Roger's quarter chicken meal (minus the muffin & cheese macaroni, too rich of calories!) & mint passion juice

These 2 days, the haze API reading in town is shooting up, the rating in my area is at moderate level (84), no blue sky, the scenery is "blur" when I looked out from my house.

Suddenly, I was missing the clear blue sky and sea again, O sweet beach sickness!
(my beach fashion avatar, hehe)

Hopefully tomorrow's weather will be better.

Good night everyone and have a nice week ahead!

What to do on Saturday?

I am kind of letting myself to a day off from my diet diary today, even though I am still keeping track of my meals.

What about a Saturday? What are the topic of today? I am suddenly so curious about what do people around the world are doing on a Saturday. Party? Party...parties?!

This may not be an interesting reading for you, but it is a good knowing for me.

Have you every thought of the world map division? Here it is.

Let's go to the main topic now, besides hectic clubbing activities, perhaps there are better things to do on this Saturday......

(All information is gathered online with personal preference and views, photos by Ms Nice Little)

1. Plan a themed party
I love this activity as I am a themed party diva. Love to act, style, drink and so much more, this is a brilliant idea!

2. Weekend getaway
This is an equally good idea as No. 1, a relaxing 2D1N trip in Malaysia could be in the forest, up the hill, soak in the hot spring, by the beach etc. Main point is relax...

3. A cocktails evening in a speakeasy bar
I love cocktails, long island iced tea, mojito, wine cocktails, champagne cocktails etc. Freezy..:)

4. At home - money free
There are too many to do at home! You don't need to go out and join the people traffic. If I am at home on Saturday, I will......

- start a blog or write a blog post with topic that interests me (long time ago, my ambition is to be an author lol)
- try a basic meditation technique
- take a very long noon nap
- blow bubble with kids
- make an art, perhaps a paper plane or a hair clip
- make a big meal for my loved ones
- seduce my partner? :P

Countless activities!

I have just realised that it is midnight now. It's fun sometimes having time spent on finding and reading information while writing a blog post.

Wish everyone a good night and sweet dreams!

TGIF!

I have a dinner date tonight, so...I better start off my breakfast with something light, something nutricious, something I like......

Boiled bak choy+carrots, dragon fruit+blueberries, orange+carrot juice

The day seems long as I only see "hungry" in my eyes, hehe wipe it off! wink it away! Let's do some walk, jog exercise. Listening to "I'll be your strength" by Simone Egeriis. When listening to this song, I thought of petpetkia, haha thanks friend for your encouragements! Let's keep this up for a longer while...

Following my heart and low carb goal, I ate some steam wholemeal bread + iced black coffee. Stole some bites from the Canai (banana+ice cream) from Jer. The Canai looks yummy, tastes YES!!

As expected, I hit the goal! Haha, the fattening goal~ without further notes, from my dinner at Dome Pavilion (sharing basis), no doubt it's the best meal of the day, which cost me almost 850cal.

TGIF!!

Mokuyobi ~ Itadakimasu

Mokuyobi, itadakimasu!

Japanese food is always my favorite. After some simple meals in the last few days, I decide to have a day of Japanese themed menu today. Well planned with some exercise included.

Breakfast - Gohan (rice), octopus sausages, simple salad w Jap sesame sauce, and suimono (clear soup w tofu, tomatoes, seaweed). Total 289cal. It is typical Jap to have big breakfast with rice, oishii!

I skipped my lunch today as breakfast was so much. In noon, I had a bowl of super duper smooth tofu fa, 75cal. wow! I wanted more.......

Dinner - Another scrumptious meal, grilled salmon as main dish, sided with stir fried broccoli+carrot+banapi (Japanese mushroom), tamagoyaki (Japanese egg roll) and kunbu (sea tangle) soup. Just nice to go with some rice.Total 798cal.

No coffee today, only green tea. Love it, love it! :)

Good Workout Day

The weather was so good in the morning today! Sunshine, park, sweat, workout mate, play, monkeys!!

Today's workout (walking, jogging & badminton) burnt 274 cal. Happy!
After that, I went with petpetkia to a good breakfast. Full!

Was relaxing the whole noon, almost fall asleep and my hunger alarm was ringing. It was already almost 3pm. Not lunch but tea break time. I took a while, to think of what to order. Ended up with Mexican beef taco, mushroom soup and iced coffee in the Padi House, Mahkota Cheras :P

At night, I drove around the neighbourhood shops, was trying to figure out what's best for dinner. Hawkers stalls with many choices always gained my attention. Sharing basis, simple food was more than enough.

Feeling relieve that the exercise contra off the excess calories. On the other hand, today's meals are over on fat and cholesterol! :}

Good or bad?

Go Tuesday Go Green!

I am not really a green color fan, no green in my wardrobe, my car, green is rarely to be seen in my house either.

Somehow, food just looks healthier, even tastier with greens. Here you go, let me tell you my "greenish" dieting today.

My Green Tuesday Menu:
Breakfast - Cornflakes in cereal drink, 1 green apple

Lunch - Chinese style fried spaghetti w mushroom & tofu (sprinkle of parsley); after heavy meal, I drank chrysanthemum pu-er tea. Seeking for fat's balancing.

Tea Break - Green juice (bitter gourd, cucumber, parsley, cherry tomatoes). Hello, Ms Tomato :)

Dinner - Steam chicken drumstick, stir fried bak choy, steam egg

Played badminton and exercised for a while, thought this could boost up the "green effect".

I am thinking to have a day of my favorite yellow themed menu too, haha if can do.
