Lemon Diet (Edited) - Day 1

Good morning! It's the first day I m starting the lemon diet with the edited menu. hehe. Nuot gonna follow 100% but as close as possible.

Breakfast - warm lemon water, 3 in 1 Nestum drink (I don't really can go with oats) and grapes.



Feel good!

Tips:
- Drink a cup of warm lemon water before any meal will reduce appetite apparently.

- Must eat/ drink in this sequence. Why? If you eat fruits first, eventually the Nestum drink tastes unsweetened. :p

I went out to Econsave, Balakong to shop for more fruits and vegetables in noon. The colors in the supermarket made me felt alive!




Even more lively seeing the fishes were jumping and dancing!



Lunch - Homemade also, lettuce walnut salad with squeezed of lemon, butter wholemeal toast.



Tips: Adding walnuts makes the salad more yummy and healthy. I need the antioxidants from walnuts. Do check out the walnut benefits, it's good for health.

Snack - I was suppose to make fruits salad but I didn't feel to, rather have a cup of coffee.



Jer also made his own snack and he insisted me to take photo of it. :) some biscuit rolls in yogurt, looks nice.



Dinner - Simple and nice, soft grilled chicken breast with lemon zest and beansprouts. Plus a bowl of old cucumber soup.




Tips:
- I used to eat either chicken drumstick/ thigh, but since diet, I have been choosing chicken breast.

Continue with Diet but Delicious Meals

I woke up this morning and felt so craving for pasta. Came downstairs and grabbed the macaroni to the stove.

I always think I eat very big portion but I am not. So, since there is only not much left, I made spicy macaroni with lettuce. Added few pieces of bean curd skin, looked and tasted fusion. I like it but it was a little salty tho. 
Ended up I couldn't finish it, what a waste!


Drink was soya milk.


During noon, I couldn't resist my coffee addiction, had a cup of Old Town white coffee ice and the Ipoh Hor Fun (sharing basis).



For dinner, I cooked as usual but I didn't really join the feast, drank a small bowl of ABC soup


I am curious and went to check why is it called the ABC soup and the answer is simply because it contains vitamin A (carrot), B (potato), C (tomato & potato). Last time I used to think maybe because of 3 main ingredients, it's easy to call ABC. But if I use 7 ingredients, shouldn't it be ABCDEFG? haha!

I made my dinner separately today, avocado tomato onion frittata, omelette it is, more classy to say as frittata. :P The chips looked unmatched but I simply love it.


Calories is not an issue today as I exercised for a while.

From tomorrow onwards, I will be following the lemon diet menu

Happy happy, 1 day gone......

Yesterday was a very happy day until I felt that time past without notice.

Happy brunch - went out with petpetkia, very happy that she came and we went to Full House  for a good brunch. 

Had pumpkin soup, chicken chop and iced lemon tea




It was a heavy brunch, stomach was feeling full although after walking for groceries shopping.

Happy tea time at my house - Royale raisin ice cream for us. I like waffle chips to eat with it.



The ice cream just melted so fast, as fast as the happy time past.

As usual, we chit chat, talked about trips, diet, beauty, pin up party and did facial together.

With winks of eyes, it's time to fetch jer. So she left. Went to mamak with jer and had teh O ais limau.

Happy dinner - I realised I still have a pumpkin, why not make some soup? hehe, then I cooked dinner ala ala the brunch menu.

Pumpkin soup, Teriyaki chicken breast+mashed potatoes+grilled mixed fungis




Tasty, stuffed, satisfied! :) The part that I was happiest was cooking and preparation for few hours burned 500cal. Bravo!

Complimented dinner with a cup of lemon water, I have completed my lemon drinks day, hehe. No coffee today.

After relaxed for a while, I felt so tired. It was a happy busy day!

Almost Perfect 1195/1200

Everyday looking at 1200 is the number of my daily routine. O to be exact, it's 1200cal.:)

Today my achievement is almost perfect hehe, 1195/1200. Read a paragraph that we shouldn't let ourselves starving...while eating healthily. Good words!

Here are my almost perfect 99+% meals of the day ♥

Breakfast - Heavy! Pork noodles with Cham C ice




Lunch - Homemade fresh lettuce and chips, served with salsa (mango+tomato+cucumber+bell pepper). I love the beautiful colors combination!




Dinner - Steam fish with bean sauce, steam egg and bean sprouts. These dishes were delicious from hawker stall, Sang Kee restaurant.





Aaaahhhh, another good diet day! It's almost 12, reaching a better tomorrow. I am looking forward to the weekly meet up, petpetkia! :)

The day was started with great singing!




The morning bell was ringing, ringing and ringing.....

Come on, today is Saturday, I should be lounging and lounging on the bed. But I can't, because my darling Jer was singing by the bed:" Mummy, it's time to wake up~~~". He sang well, so I couldn't have reason to push him away.

I feel happy for Saturday, usually I eat a lot. As if I am eating buffet but it's not. It's just a very good mood Saturday.

Morning, I went out for breakfast, met a "long lost friend". I mean this curry kampar noodles with assorted balls, bean curd skin etc. :P Yes!! Delicious! What was not missing is always my kopi.



At late noon, I made mixed fruits salad (pineapple + grapes + grapefruits), tasted like an appetizer that stimulated my taste bud for a big meal.


But then, I felt a little bit tired during noon and took a noon nap.

During evening, we went for groceries nearby. This very nice bouquet of greens attracted me.


We had dinner at the Full House cafe, Giant Cheras. I think I need so much of fluid during my diet, so I had soup, roasted milk tea and mushroom soup. 


The main was pan grilled dory with veggies & mashed potatoes. Dinner was great!


I like the ambiance in this restaurant, it gives me relax feeling. This is the kind of stuff that I'd love to have if I have an English house. hehe.



Supper was dragon fruits. A super food for vitaming C and fiber.


Well, last time I rarely eat fruits. Diet is bringing me good eating habit I think.

Now, the Saturday night has just begin, continue to enjoy my alone time. :)


Tasty+Sweet Friday

It was a tasty and sweet Friday. For meals, I spent more times on the preparation and cooking than the real eating. I thought cooking burns calories too.

Discussion on tasty, healthier meals becomes one of my favorite activities, especially sharing thoughts with petpetkia. Can this be a hobby?

Yesterday was another good day that I ate well, cooked well.

Brunch - Home baked chicken wings and greens salad + fresh tomatoes juice



This is kind of asian spicy chicken wing, I love it! But I ate 2pcs as it's quite high in calories.

During tea break, I brought Jer to a new cafe as I promised him an ice cream for his full marks in spelling. Kids most favorite dessert, ice cream!! As for myself, I had watermelon smoothie with aloe vera, soothing......



At night, I cooked as usual, of course I exclude the main carbs, no rice for myself.

White radish chicken soup with carrots, stir fried french beans with prawns and onion omelette. Yum yum!


I am invited to a pin up girls themed party recently. Oh gosh, a pin up girl is sexy and flirty, to my own impression. How am I going to dress up in that feel? There's no such gen in me haha, perhaps a pin up girl chef is possible. We 'll see.......:)
